My story ...
Hi There, I'm Becky.
I’m a mum of two, a performer, and the proud owner of A Theme Come True.
My love of performing began at a very young age. Growing up in Portsmouth, I was always singing, performing and dreaming of one day stepping onto the big stage. That passion stayed with me throughout my school and college years, eventually leading me to complete a BTEC in Musical Theatre.
At 18, I took a huge leap and packed my bags for Butlins Minehead, where I became a Redcoat. It was the start of an incredibly exciting chapter and my first real taste of performing professionally.
And it didn’t take long for that childhood dream to become a reality! Within my first year, I was performing in pantomimes and Redcoat shows, and even had the amazing opportunity to perform alongside Stephen Mulhern!
But it was during my third year at Butlins that I discovered something that would shape my career in a completely different way. I became part of the Skyline Gang, and absolutely loved every minute of entertaining families and, most importantly, seeing the excitement and joy on little ones’ faces. ❤️
That experience made me realise just how much I loved working with children. I’ve always been fascinated by their imaginations and the way their little minds work, so I decided to take that passion further and completed a Level 3 qualification in Early Years in Bridgwater.
I then spent six wonderful years working in the early years sector, gaining valuable experience and learning so much about children, their development and what makes them smile, laugh and feel special.
Then came another very important chapter — becoming a mum to my two beautiful boys. 💙
Becoming a mum gave me a whole new perspective on the magic of childhood, and it was during this time that I began to realise I could bring together everything I had learnt and loved throughout my career.
My performing experience, love of singing, creativity, passion for children and years of early years experience all came together to create one very special idea…
A Theme Come True was born! 👑✨
Since 2023, I’ve been incredibly lucky to combine all of those passions by bringing magical Princess & Character entertainment to birthday parties and events across Somerset.
I’m fully DBS checked and ready to make your little one’s favourite themes come true! ✨
